The task

What you'll make

A timed workshop in which participants complete and review a practical output.

Gather before you start

  • Participant baseline
  • Observable outcome
  • Available materials

Mark missing information so you can check it before using your work.

When to skip this kit

  • You need a native Excel, Canva, or Word template. This download contains Markdown documents and an offline HTML workbook, plus Notion import files you configure yourself.
  • You need autosave or cloud sync. Export Markdown or save a backup before closing the offline workbook.
  • You need someone to complete the work. These are worksheets to fill in yourself.

Read the first worksheet below to see whether its questions help with your task.

Included files

What's inside

  1. 01Workshop outcome brief
  2. 0290-minute facilitator plan
  3. 03Participant exercise sheets
  4. 04Facilitation recovery cards
  5. 05Feedback and follow-up

Each document has instructions, questions, and space for your answers. The final document includes a common mistake to check for before using your work.

The worked case contains five completed documents, one for each worksheet. Follow the evidence, decisions, and corrections across the same fictional project. The case is included in the workbook, reading edition, Markdown example, and optional Notion import.

Your completion check

Rehearse the exercise and rubric, protect participation and the final action step, distinguish ready and waiting outputs, and separate satisfaction, reported starts, and observed results.

Before you finish

Check this before you use it

Discussion consumes the time reserved for individual application.

Define a shorter discussion route and protect the final action exercise.

Use the final worksheet to record what needs fixing and what you still need to check.

Purpose: define what participants can produce and demonstrate in the available time. A live session should give practice and feedback a document alone would not provide. Participants/roles/number [ ]; starting knowledge [ ]; task they need to perform [ ]; preparation they can realistically bring [ ]. Finish line: each participant makes [named artifact] and explains [observable decision/action]. Not covered [adjacent work/expertise/implementation]. Do not promise competence or business improvement merely from attendance.

Output rubric Criterion | observable evidence | ready/revise/waiting rule Problem based on a specific event/source [ ]. Proposed action within the participant's authority/control [ ]. Owner and start/review dates explicit [ ]. Evidence that could show no benefit or a problem [ ]. Capacity/downside limit and stop/review condition [ ]. Define mandatory criteria. A draft with unresolved authority or missing evidence remains waiting, even if it is neatly filled in.

Access/participation: readable materials, appropriate captions if used, breaks, quiet/paired/written options, and how to request arrangements [ ]. Do not request private diagnoses or customer information for an exercise. Use a safe fictional fallback if people cannot bring a shareable case. Format/tools and prepared text/paper fallback [ ]; cofacilitator/timekeeper [ ]; required permissions and boundaries [ ]. Invitation draft: purpose, preparation, actual format/time, promised output, access/contact route, and option to pass on public sharing [ ]. Rehearsal: facilitator completes the exercise using only the instructions within its allocated time; result and revisions [ ]. Ready when instructions produce the output, needed arrangements/materials are available, and rubric/capacity fit the session. Hold or adapt if the promised participation route is unavailable.

What you will make
A timed workshop in which participants complete and review a practical output.

This is the complete first worksheet from the current edition. The full kit adds the remaining four documents, a worked scenario, and the offline editing workbook, plus an optional Notion import ZIP with Markdown pages and CSV databases.

Worked example

See the worked-case summary

Fictional example included in edition 2.49.1.

Fictional case: Lina facilitates eight shop leads practicing a small handoff-note experiment. A four-minute technology failure is absorbed by shortening peer sharing while protecting the last 15 minutes. Eight action drafts are produced; seven satisfy the readiness rubric and one waits for authority to change a system field. The five completed documents include a usable participant example, revised timing, recovery language, and a follow-up showing four reported starts without claiming every participant learned or improved business results.

Before you choose

What should I have ready for this kit?

Bring participant baseline, observable outcome, available materials. Mark anything you still need to check.

How do I know the work is finished?

A timed workshop in which participants complete and review a practical output. Check your answers against the original records and note anything unresolved before sharing your work.

What is in the Notion import pack?

The download includes an optional NOTION-IMPORT.zip with authored Markdown page templates and sample-filled CSV databases. Import the files in Notion, then set field types and any database relations yourself. Alongside those files, you receive editable Markdown documents and an offline HTML workbook. Set up the imported pages and tables yourself. These are not native Excel, Canva, or Word templates. Extract the whole ZIP before opening the HTML files. Mobile file managers may not run local scripts; the text files and reading edition remain available.

Will this do the work for me?

The kit supplies structure, questions, and examples. You provide the facts, make the decisions, and adapt the finished output. You are responsible for checking the finished work. Custom implementation and professional review are not included.

Included Notion import files · fictional preview data

Workshop Facilitation Room

7 Notion page templates, 1 completed worked-case page and 3 sample-filled CSV databases. Extract the product download, then import NOTION-IMPORT.zip in Notion desktop or web.
