Purpose: organize offers around the buyer’s task and readiness, rather than around every skill you possess.
Source register: enquiry/reference [ ]; date [ ]; buyer’s described task [ ]; current workaround [ ]; known input/approval readiness [ ]; relevant constraint [ ]; real permitted/fictional/hypothesis [ ]. Remove unnecessary personal details. Do not relabel invented examples as customer demand.
Situation map
Situation | task to decide/complete | ready inputs | missing evidence | possible offer or no fit
--- | --- | --- | --- | ---
[Need diagnosis] | [decision] | [existing work/context] | [uncertainty] | [bounded review]
[Have approved brief] | [implementation task] | [scope/copy/owner] | [dependency] | [defined project]
[Have recurring bounded work] | [monthly priorities] | [request owner/budget] | [capacity] | [recurring plan]
[Need unsupported capability] | [actual task] | [context] | [provider] | [no fit / appropriate owner]
Preserve counterexamples: someone who needs no service, needs a different provider, or cannot supply essential inputs. A useful menu can make “none of these” clear instead of funneling every visitor into the most expensive option.
Write a fit sentence for each candidate: “Choose [offer] when [specific situation] and you can provide [inputs]. It supplies [output], not [likely unsupported assumption].” Avoid promising sales, engagement, certification, or savings without evidence appropriate to that claim.
Check overlap: if two offers address the same situation with the same output, simplify or state the concrete scope difference. A diagnosis offer must not be a compulsory extra purchase for a buyer who already has an approved brief, unless the actual service requires a distinct check and you explain why.
Ready when each candidate has a distinct task, start condition, useful output, and honest no-fit boundary. Separate evidence of comprehensibility from evidence that anyone will buy.
